I acquired my first afghan in 1975 from the Ran-Har kennel. I totally fell in love with the red brindle bitch puppy, Ran-Har Chiara. “Chiara” had several placements in Best of Breed classes and she got two CAC’s. The second one came in 1976, a brindle bitch, Int Ch Tazi-Pa-Chenga Ingalunda. “Inga” had several BOB-wins and she was very successful showgirl in those days.

Sonaatti, Safiiri, Sahrami

In 1979 I and Chiara travelled to Sweden to “honeymoon” to meet Int Ch El Khyrias La’Bo’Bo. The result of this trip was my first litter of 8 puppies; 3 males and 5 females. From this litter came very successful Int Ch Sonaatti who did a lot of winning in Finland. Nord Ch Sheikki went to Sweden and had successful career there. He has also been there very successful as a stud dog.

In 1993 I got the prefix TikTei’s. The new base of my breeding program is Fin Ch Sonate’s Give Me A Break. At home there are also her litter sisters Fin Ch Sonate’s Grand Diva and Fin Ch Scaramis Be My Quest. The newest addition to the family is Ingenue Monica L. Tikteis.

After a long break and consideration the second litter was born in August 2006. Proud father is a CAC-winner, Agha Djari’s Quicksilver “Legolas”, a young male born in Germany and living in Finland. The mother of the litter is Sonate’s Give Me A Break “Geisha”. This litter of 2 males and 5 females looks very promising and we are anxious about their future.

I want to thank “Xenos“ in Italy and “Agha Djari’s” in Germany and here in Finland “Tazi-Pa-Chenga”, “Sonate’s”, “Scaramis” and “Ingenue” for their trust and support!! Special Thanks to Arja, kennel Neliapilan, for all the help during these years!!
